Sonneveld was awarded an ‘Excellent’ score by AIB International on Friday 1st October 2010.  The AIB food safety and hygiene standard is one of the strictest standards in the world and is recognised on a global scale. Sonneveld is the first Dutch company in the bakery industry with an AIB Excellent certificate.

The+profit+of+waste
Sonneveld uses its latest campaign 'The profit of waste' to create more awareness about the rework of bread. Bread is massively downgraded from high quality food to feed or waste. With her latest innovation, Sonextra Sustain, Sonneveld completes the cycle of reworking bread in a safe and high quality manner.

Price+increases+at+Sonneveld
Sonneveld will need to start passing on some of the raw material price increases to its customers from 1st January 2011. Sonneveld is thereby reacting to the general price increase for raw materials and the extreme price increases and price fluctuations concerning specific raw materials. Sonneveld will continue to absorb the price increases for the remainder of 2010 and customers can benefit from the currently ongoing contracts.
