24 April 2009 - Sonneveld Group BV is once again among the best managed companies in the Netherlands (Corporate News)

Sonneveld Group BV from Papendrecht is once again one of the 50 best managed companies in the Netherlands. This is revealed by the Best Managed Companies scheme that Deloitte organises in collaboration with Nyenrode Business University, the Chamber of Commerce, VNO-NCW (the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers) and Management Team. The competition looks for the 50 best managed companies among small and medium-sized enterprises in the Netherlands. Sonneveld Group BV is also still in the running for the sector prize for the Strategy section.


This year, Deloitte's annual competition is being arranged for the second time in the Netherlands. Sonneveld also took part in the Best Managed Companies scheme last year and was among the 50 winners that time too. The reason for Sonneveld's participation is that it is always trying to improve its service to its customers. The strengths and the points for improvement of the entire company are brought out in Deloitte's competition.

 

Because Sonneveld achieved a remarkably good score in the Strategy section, it is being considered for the Strategy sector prize. On 11th May Sonneveld will present itself during the exciting "Elevator Pitch" and is hoping to receive this additional prize.

 

The Best Managed Companies scheme is aimed at companies with at least 50 employees and turnover of at least 10 million Euros which are not quoted on the stock market. The competition is noteworthy because it is not concerned only with businesses with constant growth. The focus is on strategy and implementation. Sections such as Risk Management, Internal Organisation, Marketing & Sales and Human Resource Management receive special attention. One hundred and fifty companies registered for the competition this year.
