iba 2006 Munich -  A well-organised trade fair with an international appeal.
iba is an institution within the bakery sector. The one international trade fair you cannot afford to miss. However, Munich is quite a distance from the Netherlands, and I expected the trade fair to strongly focus on German companies. Was it happenstance for the opening day of the trade fair to coincide with a national holiday? (celebrating the union of East and West Germany). Obviously, many major German exhibitors were present, but first and foremost, iba Munich was an international trade fair.
