Human Resources Policy
Human Resources Policy
The human resources policy of Sonneveld consists in the consistent and systematic monitoring of the organisation in the broadest sense of the word. At the same time, we keep an eye on the labour market, technological developments, societal developments (labour market mobility, training level development, legislation, professionalisation) and trends in business. The needs and capabilities of (future) employees are matched in a planned and systematic way in order to ensure quality in key positions.
HR trends
At Sonneveld age awareness is central to human resources policy. Recruiting younger people on one hand while valuing older, experienced employees on the other results in a healthy mix across the overall staff pool.
Values
Sonneveld realises that adherence to generally accepted values within the company is important in maintaining optimum relations among our people. Mutual respect is important. Policy is regularly subjected to critical scrutiny in this regard.
Health policy
Sonneveld wants its staff to be able to work safely and enjoy good health. The HRM and QA/QC (Quality Assurance and Care) departments, along with the Safety, Health, Welfare and Environment Committee, devote a great deal of attention to this issue. And naturally we also work closely with the Safety, Health and Welfare Service. Moreover, the industry-wide Stop Stof covenant (dust reduction) agreed to combat foodstuff allergies is closely observed.
