Sonneveld has developed new bread mixes which are 100% gluten free. There is a growing demand on gluten free products of retail and consumers. That is why Sonneveld has developed gluten free bread mixes, named SonFit Gluten Free, which tastes en smells like a regular bread.

There is done a lot of research to the needs and wishes of the Dutch consumers about gluten free bread. The gluten free market retail value grows rapidly in Western Europe. This is mainly because of gluten free diets and the coeliac disease. Therefore Sonneveld has developed a gluten free breadmix under the Sonfit product range, to produce safe and tasty gluten free bread to set the new high quality standards. The introduction in the Netherlands was very succesfull.

Due to the specific composition of the raw materials and the unique manufacturing process a delicious gluten free bread can be baked. This bread does not crumble and is comparable to wheat bread with gluten in terms of ​​softness, texture, flavour and shelf life.

Sonneveld has developed three flavours:


For the production of the SonFit Gluten Free bread range we started a partnership with a company which has a production facility which is certified to produce gluten free products. Sonneveld carefully selected the raw materials from a guaranteed gluten free supply chain. Other raw materials are purchased from reliable suppliers that supply a certificate of analysis which guarantees their product is gluten free.

Please note: Gluten free bread has to be baked in a gluten and wheat free environment.
