Kosher

The Jewish food rules are covered by the kashrut concept. Certain foods are permitted, others aren’t or are exclusively produced under rabbinical supervision.

A rabbi needs to be present during the production process for the kosher production of food. The Chief Rabbinate for the Netherlands has been the certifying kosher authority for kosher ingredients, semi-finished products and end products produced in the Netherlands since 1945. The Chief Rabbinate for the Netherlands is an internationally renowned and recognised certifying authority for kosher products, works closely together with a number of foreign customers and provides certificates in the Netherlands and way beyond.

Sonneveld offers the possibility of kosher production upon request.
